Welcome back!
Long time no see, Kittredge! We hope you had a wonderful week off, whether you travelled abroad, had a cozy staycation, or went to see the solar eclipse like the Swanson family did! You can check out photos from this once-in-a-lifetime experience below.
Refuse Refuse Neighborhood Clean-up
This afternoon Kittredge is making the world a better place, one piece of litter at a time! Refuse Refuse, a local organization that encourages volunteers to take responsibility for keeping our city beautiful, lead our students on a clean-up of the neighborhood. We personally can't think of a better way for students to get in the spirit for Earth Day next Monday.
Hot Lunch
This week's hot lunch is a plain bagel with cream cheese, carrots, a clementine, and a juice box. Place your order here!
Middle School Dance
Put on your dancing shoes! The middle school dance is this Friday, April 19.
The dance will be held at Kittredge from 7pm-9pm. Students in grades 6-8 are invited to join us for an evening of 80's-themed FUN!
Next Week's News
8th Grade Bridge Hike
If next week's weather is as nice as today, our 8th graders are in for a serious treat. On Thursday, April 25, Mr. Young will be leading the 8th grade class on their annual bridge hike! Students will cross the Golden Gate Bridge, and then loop back around before the end of the school day.
Parents, please make sure your kids come to school with comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a hearty lunch, and a water bottle.
SF Film Fest
Is April 25 National Field Trip Day? It must be, because grades K-5 will also be on a field trip next Thursday! Students be attending the SF Film Fest at the Marina Theatre. Students should all bring a hearty lunch for this fun-filled day of movies.
Please note: Kevin's 6th grade class will also be attending SF Film Fest. Their field trip will be Wednesday, April 24th.
Happy Birthday, Kittredge!
The big day is almost here! Kittredge is celebrating 80 years of challenging academics in a warm and nurturing environment, and we want you to join us! The party will be right here at Kittredge on April 27, from 2pm-4pm. You can RSVP here. We are so excited to share this special day with so many familiar faces.
