Fables, Fairy Tales, and Shrek – Tomorrow
Pinocchio, Three Blind Mice, The Gingerbread Boy, Little Red Riding Hood, Three Little Pigs, Donkeys and Ogres may be at Kittredge tomorrow. Inspired by fairytales, fables, and Shrek, students will be dressing up tomorrow, Wednesday, April 6 in festive costumes. Come as your favorite character and get creative as you don your favorite costume or make your own. We can’t wait to see your spirit!

Oh What a Night! KPA Spring Social
Thank you to Jessica May-Shah, Cindy Tam, and Yeeki Ho for their effort in hosting the KPA Spring Social last weekend. We tumbled down the rabbit hole into a KPA wonderland.
Thanks to our amazing art teachers Ms. Gules and Ms. Olga, and your creative kids, there were pinch pots, teapots, Cheshire Cats, and Mad Hatters to whisk us away to a land of make believe. Good food, and good friends, made it an event to remember. Thank you parents, teachers, and the KPA Spring Social team for hosting a wonderful event.

Lemonade Makes Sweet Success!
Kittredge students raised $1311 for Ukraine via the lemonade stand fundraiser last week. These funds will be sent to We Are With You. This is a community, humanitarian organization that helps mothers with children who had to leave their homes, and sends food and medications back to Eastern Ukraine. Thank you to all of our families for their support.

Class Pictures by MugsyClicks – Friday
MugsyClicks photographers will be here again on Friday. This time it will be to take class group pictures and any retakes that have been scheduled online. Class pictures will all be completed before our noon dismissal.

Save the Date: Monday May 23 – Kittredge Talent Show
Please mark your calendar for May 23 at 3pm. The Kittredge talent show will be outdoors this year at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in McLaren Park. Students will have a 12pm dismissal, and no after school programs will be available, on May 23. This allows time for families to join us for class and individual acts.
If you anticipate your child being absent from this event for any reason, please notify the school in advance. It should be a fun afternoon. You won’t want to miss it!

Calling all Talent!
Please check your Konnection email for an audition form for this year’s talent show. Does your child dance? Sing? Do gymnastics? If your child would like to showcase their talent as a solo or with a few friends, please return an audition form to the office. We can’t wait to see these kids shine!

Middle School Dance – April 22
Not to be outdone by their parents at last Saturday’s KPA Spring Social, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students should mark their calendar for April 22nd. We invite our middle schoolers to join us for dancing, refreshments, and fun right here at Kittredge. Please RSVP by returning the dance form that was distributed in class today.

Spring Break Begins this Friday at Noon!
Spring Break is on the horizon. We look forward to hearing from you (if we have not already) so we can plan appropriately for our extended day program. Please let us know if your child will or will not be attending extended day on Friday, for this minimum day noon dismissal.

Covid Tests Coming Your Way
We hope that the next week will be a welcome respite for your family. Please be on the lookout for a box of 2 covid tests that will go home with your child this week.
SFDPH Covid guidelines are changing and we have changed with them. One negative Covid test dated Sunday, April 17th will be required for every student returning on Monday, April 18th. The second test should be saved to use only if your child develops any symptoms.
