Parent Conferences were a Success – Thank You!
It was wonderful to see many of you in person for Parent Conferences last week. We are thankful for your time, as well as your support of your children and our teachers. Thank you again!

Thursday is Pajama Day and the Holiday Happening
Please help your child enjoy our most comfortable Spirit Day of the year… all students are encouraged to come and spend the day in their favorite jammies. Please make sure your child has shoes to wear for PE and recess.
After school, parents are invited to bring their child to the Holiday Happening in Rochambeau Park from 3 to 5. If it is heavily raining, the students will enjoy an abbreviated Holiday Happening from 2-3pm inside the school and be ready for a usual 3pm pickup. We will notify you via email if we need to move the event indoors. Let’s hope for sun!

No Study Hall or Extended Day this Thursday, December 16
The whole school will be dismissed at 3:00pm on Thursday to begin our Winter Break. Please make sure your child brings everything home that they need for the holidays on Thursday.

Save the date for the heralded return of the Kittredge Holiday Happening. Big news for 2021: the Holiday Happening is happening outdoors!

Rochambeau Playground
There will be crafts, games, snacks, a dance floor, and plenty of holiday cheer. Be sure to stay for the traditional Kittredge holiday sing-a-long!
**Please note: there is no Extended Care on 12/16. Please plan to join your child(ren) at the Holiday Happening or make plans for them to come with another adult.**

Walk A Thon
Kittredge kids are encouraged to give back to the community this holiday season. Our student council is planning a Walk A Thon to support Larkin Street Youth Services. The Walk A Thon will be on January 21, 2022 at lunch recess. All Kittredge kids are encouraged to use the form attached to today’s Konnection email to begin collecting donations now. Thank you for your support.

Returning to Kittredge After Vacation – Covid Test Results Needed
We are asking for Covid Test Results to be uploaded for every student by December 30th, so that students may return in person on January 3rd. Both PCR and rapid tests (such as Binax) will be accepted.
Please also remember that if your child is not fully vaccinated, a 7 day quarantine and a negative covid test is required after air travel and before returning to school.
