THIS WEEK’S NEWS

Volunteers Are Needed for the Holiday Happening

The Holiday Happening is Thursday evening and we are looking for a handful of volunteers. This is a great way to meet other parents and students and help out at the same time.

On the top floor are games. Teachers will start these at 6:30 and can use some relief at 7:00 and 7:30.

On the main floor are various crafts… t-shirt, gift bag and picture frame decorating, as well as ornament making. Parents have volunteered to begin these activities at 6:30 but they would welcome a break at 7:00 and 7:30.

On the bottom floor will be food and having a couple parents watching the tables would be great.

Even 15 or 20 minutes of your time would be appreciated and it’s a great chance to meet other parents and students. If interested contact Tanya at mpeich@pacbell.com. Thank you for contributing to this fun filled evening!

Holiday Happening – This Thursday from 6:30 – 8:00

All families are invited to attend Kittredge School’s annual Holiday Happening. Please mark your calendars now to make sure you don’t miss this wonderful event.

A sandwich snack is provided.

Please bring a finger food appetizer or dessert to share.

There will be crafts and games for all.

We’ll close with a community sing-a-long at 8.

As always, a great time is expected!

Rumor has it that Santa will make an appearance.

Important Note To All Parents: Please remember that this is a family and community event. Teachers will be busy running games and helping with food and we rely on parents to watch and supervise their own children. The Kittredge Parent Association has worked hard to have activities for all, but we do not have space for students to invite friends outside of Kittredge to this event. Thanks for your help and support of our community.

ALUMNI NEWS

Return of the Class of ‘92

By Mr. Young, teacher of Class of ‘92

Just last Friday the Kittredge class of 1992 decided to see whom they could get together for a class reunion. Many of them had not seen each other since high school. Now they’re all 40… older than some of you… and scattered throughout the country. It took months to work out the details, but once they did that they invited their old 8th grade teacher. So, Mr. Young and Trudy joined the 8 (out of 15) class members who made it in a wonderful dinner and talked all about the good old days. A good time was had by all.
