TODAY’S NEWS
Our 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders Returned Today
Today was a big day at Kittredge. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students were able to return to the classroom if they chose to do so. Others were learning remotely and zoomed into the classroom for all to see. Besides the fun of seeing so many students and parents today, we also had the first appearances of our teachers: Ms. Horrocks and Sian in the 3rd and 4th grade classroom and Katie in the 5th grade classroom.
Our desks are socially distanced and our cohorts are remaining separate. Students spend snack, recess and other break times outside and when they are inside, windows are open and air is circulating.
Later this week our Middle School students will return. At this time, the 7th and 8th graders are only permitted to meet outside, but if San Francisco continues to lower the Covid statistics, they will be permitted inside when they meet on Thursdays.
We thank all of our parents for working hard to get their family Covid Tested and agreeing to comply with all current health directives, even when out of school, by signing our Social Contract.

We Had a Ms. Gules Sighting Today!
Tuesdays, the three classrooms at Kittredge will have time at Rochambeau with Ms. Gules. Just like before, we ask you to make sure your children are prepared for the changing February climate. Please send them with waterproof layers so they can enjoy themselves no matter what the weather brings.

Re-Enrollment for 2021
Later this week, we will open re-enrollment for Fall 2021. We ask returning families for a $1000.00 deposit to hold a space for their child(ren).
If you would like to reenroll your child for next year, please make sure to complete the process by February 20.

NEXT WEEK’S NEWS
Noon Dismissal Next Friday, February 12 – Presidents Day Break
Students will be dismissed at noon next Friday and there will be no school Monday, February 15 to Friday, February 19.

MORE FEBRUARY NEWS
Remote Teaching For All – February 22 to 26
All classes will resume on February 22 with one week of remote teaching. During that time parents and students will again need to be Covid tested. Results will need to received before Monday, March 1 in order for your child to be admitted into class.
Please note that the Visitu Survey, for when you return, will still include the travel restriction if that is still in place locally.
