Kittredge Visitors are Here!
If you see some new faces at Kittredge in the next couple of months, don't be surprised! This time of year, student visitors will be spending time in our classes to get to know our school. Already, we owe a great big thank you to our teachers and students who have been warm and welcoming to our new friends. We would also like to thank our Kittredge parent community for spreading the word about Kittredge, online and in person. We are so, so lucky!
Habit of Mind: Managing Impulsivity
“Desire to have things done quickly prevents their being done thoroughly.”
Confucius
For both January and February, Kittredge students are practicing managing their impulsivity. With worksheets put together by our student council members, they are tracking and reviewing their own impulsivity at home and at school.
Let's Go Kittredge, Let's Go!
The girls have two games this week: their first game was yesterday, and we're very proud of their win! Their second game is tomorrow, 1/24 against CDS at Columbia Boys and Girls Club at 4pm.
Our boys' team also gave a valiant effort against PHS yesterday afternoon! Their next game will be next Monday 1/29, against CDS at Columbia Boys and Girls Club. The game starts at 4:00pm.
Hot Lunch this Week: Bagel with Cream Cheese
This week’s hot lunch will be a bagel with cream cheese, along with carrots, apples, and juice.
If you would like to sign your child up for hot lunch, there’s still time! Please sign up no later than 12pm on Wednesday, January 24, using the link below:

Looking Ahead
Yosemite
Kittredge will be awfully quiet the week of February 12th-16th... because the 7th and 8th grade trip to Yosemite is almost here!
Parents, please reach out if you have any questions leading up to the trip. You should have a supply list and are hopefully gathering the necessary materials. If you have questions, we're here to help!
Summer Fun Ahead!
The Kittredge Summer School Program is on the horizon and we look forward to seeing you there! Want more details and to know how to register? Give our office a call, or complete the form on our Summer School page.
