Basketball Season Comes to an End
Yesterday marked the final game of the winter basketball season. We are so proud of the way our teams exhibited sportmanship, teamwork, and determination! If you’d like to see photos of our boys and girls on the court, you can check out our Shutterfly page here.
Thank You, Laura!
Kittredge owes a great big thank you to fourth grade parent Laura Julian, who was our parent rep at this past weekend’s Kindy Playdate. Word of mouth is our best advertisement, and we are so appreciative of the way you represent us! Thank you.
7th/8th Go on an Adventure
This Thursday, February 2 the 7th and 8th grade classes will go on a hike that will take them through Land’s End, Ocean Beach, and Golden Gate Park. Students should come to school in a good pair of hiking boots and weather-appropriate clothing. They should bring a water bottle and lunch with them for the day.
Re-enrollment Opens Tomorrow, February 1
From February 1 through February 15, TADS will be open for online re-enrollment for our current families. If your child will be returning to Kittredge next year, you will need to complete this online form by February 15. There will be a $1,000 deposit needed at that time to hold a space for your child.
We can’t wait for another great year!
Talent Show Permission Slips Due Tomorrow, February 1
Does your child dance? Sing? Play the harmonica? Have a ventriloquist act? If your child is performing a solo act in this year’s talent show, permission slips are due to the office no later than tomorrow Wednesday, February 1.
KPA Donut Hike
The KPA would like to announce that this Sunday, February 5th is the fourth annual Kittredge family donut hike!
We’ll meet at the Presidio tunnel tops at 10am (specific location will be sent) and do a roughly 1-1.5 mile walk around Crissy field, ending at the kids exploration play area at the tunnel tops for Bob’s donuts (like fluffy clouds of warm sugar goodness) and coffee.
It’s a fun relaxed tradition, and we hope you can all join in!
$20 donation per family to help support the KPA can be venmo’ed to @DevonMcConnell

Secure Your Child’s Spot in the Kittredge Summer Program!
The dates are set and we are open for signups! Kittredge’s Summer School will run from Tuesday, June 20 through Friday, July 21.
Summer School is broken up into three parts of the day:
Morning Academic Program: 9am-12pm
The Kittredge Morning Academic Program emphasizes the basic skills of mathematics, reading, and English language arts. Our small class size (maximum of 15 students) allows each teacher to engage the students in a variety of activities to enrich their academic foundation, keeping them involved and interested in learning. Students are assessed and placed in learning groups not by grade alone, but by achievement level as well. Tuition is $1750.00 for the 5-week academic session.
Afternoon Enrichment Classes 12pm-3pm
Arts and crafts, music, poetry, and other recreational activities will be available during these hours.
Field trips will take place on Friday afternoons and will round out these fun afternoons. Students will walk to Baker Beach, the Presidio and a variety of local playgrounds.
Extended Day Program: 7:45am-9am & 3pm-6pm
Activities, puzzles, games, supervised study, and quiet reading time, will be provided in conjunction with the Morning Academic Program during these hours. A snack will be provided at 4:30pm. If adding onto the Morning Academic Program tuition, the Afternoon Enrichment Classes plus the Extended Day program are $650.00 for the 5-week after school session.
