Holiday Happening, Happened!
Thank you KPA and especially Kathleen Byrne and Catherine Kelley who demonstrated both persistence and flexibility to pull off an amazing Holiday Happening. We were so pleased to be able to come together again. Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who filled our bellies with brownies, played games with us, and joined us in a few holiday songs. It was a wonderful way to start our winter break. Thank you for your help in making this event a success!

Assembly tomorrow: Communicating with Clarity and Precision
This month’s Habit of Mind is Communicating with Clarity and Precision. Student council will present this habit at our assembly tomorrow afternoon.
If your child is in 4th to 8th grade and is interested in becoming a part of the student council, elections will be held later this month. Permission slips to run for an office are available in the office and are due back to the office on Friday, January 7, 2022.

Keeping Kittredge Safe – Weekly testing in January
With the spread of Omicron comes our additional effort to stay safe. In order to help mitigate transmission, we are following the SFDPH recommendations and asking for weekly tests throughout the month of January. Both PCR and rapid tests are accepted.
Please submit test results to this google form by midnight on every Tuesday of this month beginning January 11th.
We ask that you plan ahead in scheduling tests for January 11, 17, and 25. If you have difficulty booking a test, please contact the office to discuss available resources. Thank you for participating in our effort to keep our kids healthy and in school.

Walk A Thon
Kittredge kids are encouraged to give back to the community. Our student council is planning a Walk A Thon to support Larkin Street Youth Services. The Walk A Thon will be on January 21, 2022 at lunch recess. All Kittredge kids are encouraged to use the form attached to today’s Konnection notification to begin collecting donations now. From February 1 until February 15 TADS online enrollment will be open for current families. If your child will be returning to Kittredge next year, you will need to complete this form online by February 15th. There will be a $1000.00 deposit needed at that time to hold a space for your child.
