Happy New Year and Welcome Back
Once again the Holiday Happening kicked off our winter break with great community spirit. Thank you to the KPA, and especially Tanya Piech, for organizing this popular event. Thanks also, to all the families who came and shared the good time and good will with us that evening.
We’re all very happy to see everyone back at school and to begin a new year together.

Hot Lunch Returns – Order Form Attached
Sleep a little later and skip the chore of packing a lunch on Fridays. The 8th grade class brings this lunch program to you. It helps finance their weeklong program at Yosemite Park with NatureBridge. Lunch forms must be returned by Thursday so that we can count your child’s order. Download a lunch form here:

NatureBridge Payments and Forms are Due on Friday
All 7th and 8th graders spend a memorable week of outdoor education at Yosemite National Park. This bonding and educational experience is a highlight of the year for everyone. Please make sure to turn in all the necessary paperwork by Friday.

Science Club Continues this Week
This week will end the current session of Science with Ms. Rose. A new session will begin next week. Be on the lookout for the new registration form later this week if your child would like to join this in-depth and hands-on science exploration.

New Chess Session will Begin on Friday, January 24 – Sign Up Today
A new session will begin this month and continuing students as well as new students can register online at: www.academicchess.com. Registration forms can be downloaded here are also in the office if you want one.

TADS Tuition Payments
Just a reminder to our families using the two-payment tuition plan, January is the month that the second half will be deducted from your tuition account.

No School Monday, January 20
As written in our calendar, there will be no classes or Extended Day on Monday, January 20 in observance of MLK, Jr. Day.

Also Coming… Re-enrollment for Next Year
From January 27 until February 10 TADS online enrollment will be open for current families. If your child will be returning to Kittredge next year, you will need to complete this form online by February 10th. There will be a $1000.00 deposit needed at that time to hold a space for your child.
