The March 14 KPA Auction And Dinner Has Been Postponed
The KPA is working with Arguello Restaurant on dates later in the school year and will let everyone know when a new date is confirmed.
Please note that there will be no event this weekend.

Our Talent Show Is Also Being Re-Scheduled
The SFJCC is asking March events of 250 or more to reschedule. Because of that, we are currently working with them to find a date in May for our Talent Show. We will update you as soon as we have something confirmed.
Please cancel the March 26 Talent Show date on your calendar.

Bridge Breaking Ceremony in Sixth Grade
Our 6th grade class has spent several weeks on a fun and challenging multidisciplinary project. They were divided into four independent groups and have been collaboratively working to complete the task of building the strongest bridge. They will test the strength of each bridge on Monday at a Bridge Breaking Ceremony. Way to go 6th graders!

Our second trimester is ending in a little over a week. There is still time to check TeacherEase and see what is posted in many classes. If you have questions, please check with your child and the teacher.

Staff Development Day – March 27
As written in our calendar, there will be no classes on Friday, March 27. A Survey Monkey Extended Day registration will be emailed later this week. Depending on registration, Extendo may be available that day.

Tdap Vaccine For 7th Grade Entrance
The state of California requires a Tdap vaccine for all students to be able to enter 7th grade in September. All current 6th graders entering 7th grade at Kittredge must turn in proof of this immunization by April 15th. If your child still needs the vaccine, please schedule it during Spring Break. If he or she already has it, please have your doctor send us the immunization record.

SUMMER NEWS
Summer at Kittredge – June 22 to July 24
Summer is a great opportunity to engage children in activities that enrich their academic foundation and keep them involved and interested in learning.
Our 5-week summer program is open to students entering first through eighth grades. Mornings are designed to keep students active and their grade level skills strong. The afternoons offer a variety of free play and structured activities. If you are interested, please return an enrollment form to reserve a space for your child. You can print a registration form here or pick one up in the office.
