Kittredge Konnection - May 14, 2024

This Week's News

Thank You to the KPA for a Wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week!

We would like to thank our incredible Kittredge Parents Association for an amazing Teacher's Appreciation Week! From breakfast to lunch to the most important meal of all - dessert! - they made us feel so special all throughout the week. We really are the luckiest little school in the city!

4/5 to Angel Island

Tomorrow, May 15, Katie's 4/5 class will be taking the ferry to Angel Island!

Students will visit the island's Immigration Station and learn about its history. Students should wear weather-appropriate clothing (layers, always!) and comfortable walking shoes, and should pack a filling lunch and water bottle.

Senior Shout-Outs!

Congratulations to the following Kittredge Class of 2020 alums:

Daisy Meritt, who is graduating from Urban High School and heading to Reed College.

Carson Mayer, who is graduating from Lowell High School and heading to Purdue University.

We are proud and excited for these students, who are about to begin an exciting new chapter of their lives!

We will also celebrate Anna Malyala, Treasurer, and Leyla Cebeci, Secretary, as they pass on the torch to two new board members. Childcare and pizza for the kids will also be provided. Zoom option available.

Please note, we will call a Special Meeting to be held during the last 15 minutes of the meeting to vote on updates to the current KPA BYLAWS regarding the endowment fund.

Let's get together as a community at the Kittredge Year-End Picnic at Rochambeau. We will be inviting next year's new students and parents, so let's have a great turn-out to welcome them!
