Habit of Mind – Responding with Wonderment and Awe

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science.” ~Albert Einstein

Wonderment and Awe are the feelings you have when you recognize that something is amazing. Wanting to experience these feelings is what makes you strive to achieve great things, to set and work towards big goals. When the world around us sparks our interest and ignites our sense of wonder, we are inspired to learn, to explore, and to imagine possibilities.

Successful people are aware of their surroundings and are passionate. They are known to find the world awesome and mysterious and are intrigued with phenomena and beauty.

THIS WEEK’S NEWS

Air Quality Update

Every day we are checking the Air Quality Index for the Kittredge School zip code of 94121. As long as it is in the red “unhealthy” zone, we will remain indoors. When the index moves into the brown ”USG” zone we will begin bringing students outside, possibly for shortened periods of time. If you want your child to stay inside while the air is unhealthy for sensitive groups (USG) please let us know and they can stay inside and read.
