Spirit Day – Tomorrow

Student council has chosen “Character Day” to be the next school spirit day this year. Please help your child celebrate this spirit day by dressing as a character from a book, movie, game, etc tomorrow.

Cross Country and Volleyball Draw to a Close

Congrats to our Cross Country and Volleyball teams. Cross country finished the season strong and Volleyball went on to take the championship! We are so very proud of the teamwork, strength, and commitment that our coyotes have shown. Well done Kittredge!

Planning a trip?

We hope that you will take this opportunity to enjoy the week of Thanksgiving with family. Please remember that unvaccinated air travel requires a 7 day quarantine and a negative covid test before returning to school. Unvaccinated international travel also requires a 7 day quarantine and negative covid test before returning to school.

Whether you travel or stay local, we hope you will be safe. Please update us with your most recent vaccine information. We are looking for student and parent vaccine cards. A full vaccination is effective 2 weeks after the second dose is administered.

Covid Protocols to Return After the Holiday Break

Domestic Travel:

– Fully vaccinated (2 weeks after a second dose): monitor for symptoms; get tested if symptoms develop.

– Not fully vaccinated (2 weeks after a second dose): quarantine for 7 days; get tested 3 days after return.

International Travel:

The CDC recommends that you should not travel internationally until you are fully vaccinated.

– Fully vaccinated: monitor for symptoms and get tested 3 to 5 days after return.

– Not fully vaccinated: quarantine for 7 days and get tested 3 days after return; or quarantine for 10 days without a test.

Parent Teacher Conferences, December 9 and 10

We are holding Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday and Friday, December 9th and 10th. School will be dismissed at noon and conferences will be from 12:30 to 5 on both days.

A google dismissal form will be emailed after Thanksgiving so you can let us know where to dismiss your child at noon on those days. You will be able to register your child in to Extended Day for the afternoon or you can drop off your child, for no charge, while you attend your conference.

In order to best accommodate sibling conferences and help with special circumstances, each teacher is sending out conference requests to parents this week. Sending back your preferences early will help teachers coordinate sibling appointments, so please don’t delay if you need a couple scheduled together.

Zoom conferences can also be arranged on the teacher’s sign up request. After you choose your preferences, please let them know that you prefer the conference to be virtual instead of in person.
