Welcome back, Kittredge!
We missed you! Yesterday Kittredge School was full of students once again, and we couldn't be happier to see the smiling faces we missed so much.
Academy of Sciences Field Trip
Our school-wide field trip to the Academy of Sciences is this Friday, December 1st. Parents should send students to school in comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and with a packed lunch.
If you have signed up to drive your child and their classmates to the museum, you must complete a driver information form and return it with the required documents to the office no later than this Thursday, November 30.
Sign up for Hot Lunch
It's not too late to sign up for hot lunch on Friday, December 15! Hot lunch will be cheese pizza, carrots, clementines, and a juice box.

Please note that we will not offer Hot Lunch this Friday, December 1st, due to the Academy of Sciences school trip.
Next Week's News
Yosemite Forms Due Next Week
There are three forms to return to secure a spot for your 7th or 8th grader to attend the Yosemite trip. Please remember to turn in the electronic form, printed form and payment for Yosemite by December 5th.
Conferences
First trimester conferences are next Thursday and Friday, December 7th and 8th. By now, you should have received contact from your child's teacher with a sign-up for conferences. If you have yet to select a time for conferences with your child's teacher, please do so as soon as possible.
Conference days are minimum days with a 12pm dismissal. If your child will need to attend Extended Day at 12pm on Thursday or Friday, please let us know using the following Google form:
Parents are welcome to drop off children to Extended day during the duration of their conference at no cost.
Looking Ahead
Pajama Day is December 21st
December 21st is the comfiest, coziest day of the year! The last Spirit Day of 2023 is Pajama Day, and everyone is encouraged to come to school in their favorite pair of pjs.
Muttville Fundraiser
December 21st is not only pajama day, it is also the day of our waffle fundraiser benefitting senior dogs at Muttville. Students will be able to enjoy a toasty waffle courtesy of our student council. A small donation is encouraged for this worthy cause.
Winter Break
Kittredge kicks off winter break this year with a minimum day on Thursday, December 21st. There will be a 12pm dismissal.
There is no school on Friday, December 22nd. School will resume on Monday, January 8th.
KPA Korner
Holiday Happening
Mark your calendars for the Holiday Happening at Kittredge on December 20 at 6:30! Be on the lookout for an invitation this week, and please RSVP by December 15.
We're still looking for volunteers to take short shifts to help run the games and crafts, etc. Please sign up to help at this kid-favorite event.

Year-End Teacher Gift Drive to Kick Off
Look for a KPA email later this week with all the details on how you can thank our amazing teachers with cash gifts handed out right before the holiday break. The drive kicks off on 12/1. Stay tuned!
