As written in our school calendar, Kittredge will be closed next Monday, October 12 in celebration of the Fall Holiday. There will be no classes or Extended Day.

Lifetouch School Pictures

Your children have all received their proofs from school pictures. Please check their backpacks if you haven’t seen them. Pictures can be ordered on line. Class pictures and individual retakes are scheduled for October 29.

October Habit of Mind: Creating, Imagining and Innovating

Our habit this month is Creating, Imagining and Innovating. People who use this habit are known to: think about how something might be done differently from the “norm”; propose new ideas; strive for originality; and consider novel suggestions others might make. Our teachers will include activities this month to encourage students to think outside the box.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip is Tomorrow

Our kindergarteners to 3rd graders will have their annual pumpkin patch trek to Nicasio to walk through fields and choose a pumpkin. Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to drive and chaperone this special trip. We couldn’t enjoy the day without you. Please don’t forget to bring a booster or car seat for your child if it is needed for the ride.

KPA Meeting Next Tuesday, October 13

All parents are invited to attend a meeting from 6pm to 7pm to hear the latest news from the KPA and help plan for the future. Childcare will be available for Kittredge students.

Our 2015 School Roster is in TeacherEase

Everyone can now find the current School Roster by logging into your TeacherEase account. There is a menu on the top called “Communicate” and under that is the “digital locker”. You will find the 2015 roster in the digital locker where it can be downloaded onto your desktop and saved or printed.

Also, please let me (Trudy) know if you find an error in your listing and I will correct it. Thanks for your help.
