Tonight is the October KPA Meeting – 6pm to 7pm
All parents are invited to come and join the October meeting. Discussions about the Holiday Happening and the Spring Auction are underway. A pizza snack and childcare is available for Kittredge students.

Online Applications are Available Now; Sibling Applications are Due November 22
You can now go online to begin the application process for 2020-2021. The link is on our website www.kittredge.org under “how to apply”.

Open House Tomorrow at 7pm
Perspective families will be here tomorrow evening to learn about Kittredge. This event is full, but we have two other Open Houses scheduled with available space in each. If anyone knows a family interested in attending Kittredge next year, please have them call the office at 415-750-8390 to reserve a spot. Saturday, November 9th and Thursday, November 21st are the dates.

This Thursday and Next Wednesday are 8th Grade High School Days
On October 10 and 16 there will be no classes for our 8th grade students. These days are scheduled to help and support our 8th graders while they are visiting high schools and working on their applications.

As written in our school calendar, Kittredge will be closed on Monday, October 14 in celebration of the Fall Holiday. There will be no classes or Extended Day.

Lifetouch Class Group Pictures and Retakes – October 29
Students were given their school pictures last Friday. You can order online or return them for retake day. Class pictures will also be taken at that time.

Halloween at Kittredge
All students may come to school in costume on Thursday, October 31. Costumes cannot include weapons, toy weapons or blood of any kind. Masks and other accessories should be kept in a bag until the parade (weather permitting) at 2:00. Parents are invited (and encouraged!) to attend.

Trick or Treat for UNICEF
Student council will once again sponsor this successful program. UNICEF boxes will be distributed to each student who wants to participate. The campaign will end on November 4 and the boxes must be in by that morning to count toward your class total.

The Fall Raffle is Underway!
Please consider purchasing raffle tickets to support KPA. The Fall Raffle is in full swing with new exciting prizes:
1st: 2 Tickets to Golden State Warriors vs. New York Knicks on December 11, 2019
2nd: Gift certificate to a neighborhood restaurant ($200 value)
3rd: Membership to a museum of choice in San Francisco
4th: Hot lunches for the year (for all kids in the family attending Kittredge)
5th: $50 Amazon Gift Certificates
The Fall Raffle is an important way for the KPA to continue funding fantastic events like the Holiday Happening and Field Day, as well as keep field trips free, rent the JCC auditorium for the talent show and graduation, purchase computers and iPads, and so much more!
Participation Instructions:
1. Fill out the Google form (open by clicking here) and choose how many tickets you will buy. Please remember to click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the form.
2. Submit your payment by Friday, October 25th.
Payment Options:

– Cash or Check (payable to KPA) submitted to Trudy.
(Please include your child’s name with cash & check payments!)
3. You will receive an e-mail notification with your ticket numbers by October 27th.
Numbers are assigned sequentially based on the time of entry, which is auto-stamped.
