Tonight marks the first KPA meeting of the year! Join us in person or on Zoom at 6pm. We can’t wait to see you!
Cross Country
And they’re off! Kittredge is proud to host the Running Gag’s first meet of the season, today at Hellman Hollow in Golden Gate Park. Races start at 4:30 and 5:00.
Our next meet will be Wednesday, September 28 at Crissy Field.
Student Council Elections
Student council elections are in full swing here at Kittredge. On every floor, you can see campaign posters and hear students asking, “Do I have your vote?”
Speeches will be given at tomorrow’s assembly, after which there will be a vote for school-wide offices. A sincere congratulations to every student who has chosen to participate in this election – you represent Kittredge just by getting involved!

Back to School Nights
Back to School Week has begun!
Ms. Mara Leonard and Mr. Terry Young got us off to a great start with their presentations for the 7th and 8th grade parents. Tomorrow night will feature presentations for our 5th and 6th grade families, and Thursday night will feature presentations for our Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade families.
The schedule for remaining classroom presentations is:
Wednesday, September 14:
5:30 to 6:10 – 5th Grade, Katie Bradley
6:30 to 7:10 – 6th Grade, Kevin Smith
Thursday, September 15:
5:30 to 6:10 – Kindergarten, 1st Grade – Graziella Villahermosa
6:30 to 7:10 – 2nd, 3rd, 4th Grade – Amanda Horrocks
Fall Picnic: Saturday, September 17 at Mt. Lake Park
Join us this Saturday, September 17, from 10am until 1pm for our annual fall picnic. You can enter the park on 9th and Lake, and find us at the shelter between 8th and 10th.
Masks will be optional.
Each family should bring their own picnic lunch, and a blanket and/or chairs for their group. Kittredge will provide juice boxes, chip bags and desserts.
We can’t wait to see you there!
