Volleyball
Our volleyball season is off to a great start with back-to-back wins against Burkes on Friday and Synergy yesterday. The next volleyball game will be this Friday, September 29. Kittredge will face off against Gateway’s team at Gateway. The game begins at 4:30. Go Coyotes!
Cross Country
Our cross country team had a great first meet, and is gearing up for our second meet tomorrow, September 27, at McLaren Park. The walkthrough is at 4:00, and the race begins at 4:30. Go Coyotes!
Thank You for Driving Safely
Though Lake Street is closed, there are still cars driving down our block. You are permitted to drive on the block to pick up or drop off your child. Please be mindful of cars and pedestrians alike as you exit our loading zone.
If you arrive early, we appreciate you taking a lap around the block or even parking for a walking pickup. We try to keep our loading zone free for two cars at a time and move everyone in and out as efficiently as possible. If you are the parent of a middle school student, you may make a plan to pick up your child at the corner of 24th and Lake. This allows you space without double parking in the street, which can make it difficult for cars exiting the loading zone as well as pedestrians who have the right of way.
Thank you for keeping our community safe and for modeling safe choices for our Kittredge kids.

KPA Korner
Volunteer Opportunities Available & Next KPA Meeting
Thank you to everyone who attended our kick-off KPA meeting! It was a record crowd and we're so excited about people stepping forward to support the KPA efforts. We're still seeking volunteers to help Leyla Cebeci with the Fall Count-Me-Ins and Mindee Kashiwagi with the Fall Raffle. And if you'd like to pitch in to help with the Holiday Happening (a kid favorite), the more the merrier! Classroom Outings & Events
Have an idea for a fun event for your kid's class? The KPA has a budget of $200 for each class for parents to organize out-of-school events on weekends or afternoons. Park playdates with pizza and beach potlucks have been fun socials for the kids. Contact your class parent if you want to brainstorm ideas!
