Study Hall
Study Hall begins today, September 6. But it’s not too late to sign up! If you would like your child to attend Study Hall, please fill out an After School Form and submit it to jamieavery@kittredge.org.
Talent Show Video – Last Call!
A video of last spring’s Talent Show at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater is available for purchase as a USB thumb drive. Each copy is $20, all of which goes directly to the Kittredge Parents Association. You can send your requests to jamieavery@kittredge.org.

Covid Protocol – Where We Are Now
A quick reminder – this year we are no longer requesting that parents fill out a health screening on TeacherEase for students. Please keep your child at home if they are unwell, and contact our office if you have any questions.
We are also no longer sending community-wide notifications when a community member test positive. We will continue to notify you if your child has been exposed. We appreciate your understanding as we make this communication transition.
Lastly, beginning Monday, September 12, 2022, Kittredge will be returning to a mask-optional policy. Because everyone has experienced the pandemic differently, and has been impacted by it in different ways, everyone feels differently about mask wearing.
Please encourage your children to respect and accept the choices of their classmates and teachers.
We encourage everyone to get vaccinated and upload your status for our records. You can update your child’s vaccine status here
Cross Country
The Running Gags are back! Cross Country begins this week, with practices every Monday and Wednesday from 3:15 to 4pm. Our first practice is tomorrow, Wednesday, September 7.

Student Council Elections
Permission slips for students interested in running will go out today and are due to the office on Friday, September 9. Student Council elections will be held next Wednesday, September 14. Candidates will give speeches to the entire school at our first school Assembly. Afterwards, students will cast their votes!
KPA
The first Kittredge Parent’s Association meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, September 13, at 6pm. We look forward to seeing both new and familiar faces!
Back to School Nights: September 12, 14, and 15
Our Back to School Nights will be staggered over Monday, September 12; Wednesday, September 14; and Thursday, September 15. They will be conducted over Zoom. Be on the lookout for an invite from your child’s teacher!

6:30 to 7:10 – 2nd, 3rd, 4th Grade – Amanda Horrocks
Fall Picnic: Saturday, September 17 at Mt. Lake Park
Join us on Saturday, September 17, from 10am until 1pm for our annual fall picnic. You can enter the park on 9th and Lake, and find us at the shelter between 8th and 10th.
Masks will be optional.
Each family should bring their own picnic lunch, and a blanket and/or chairs for their group. Kittredge will provide juice boxes, chip bags and desserts.
We can’t wait to see you there!
